Have you ever thought about the depth of a famous saying,

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.”

Have you ever imagined what feeling it is to dance in the rain? The tiny, little, cold rain drops falling on your face and the cool wind blowing with grey clouds covering the sky……just the feel of it brings smile and feelings of happiness. And with such a feeling, you feel like dancing to the rythm of wind, feeling as light as a feather, moving with a flow.

With having explained that saying, you might think about all the happiness a tiny raindrop can bring. But at the same time, have you ever thought that why do poets associate rain with sadness? Mostly, rain reminds the heartbroken people about their love that is long lost. Or a tragedy that might have happened on a rainy day. So, why can’t they feel the joy that the rain showers upon us?

The reason to that might have associated deep feelings and thoughts. Sadness might also bring tears with it. When the rain showers, it brings with it the past memories of the people or the loved ones that had been with us in the past. This brings the tears which flow with the rain to the ground. The rain drops that fall on our face, meddle with the tears and the ones watching might not be able to differentiate between the rain drops and the tears.

For some people rain is happiness, but for some, it might be a chance to let their pain out in the form of tears, which cannot be differentiated from the rain drops.

Thus, the idea of the quotation mentioned at the start might be a little clear to you know. Who are the people who say sunshine brings happiness and the ones for whom dancing in rain is joyful.
